Memphis Zoo

as a note to all ya'll local folks, the memphis zoo is free on "Tennessee Tuesdays" from 2pm 'til close... so it was that much more fun (about 13 more dollars fun, actually) to go and take these shots of the animals that were surprisingly active on a hot memphis summer day.

these are close to in order of my most-to-least favorite... the top 2, of the leapords (spotted and black, respectively) are my favorite for sure. all of these are cropped down, some more than others, to "zoom in" more in the animals, as it were. check 'em out:
